Generally, events at SPGENS can be divided into these categories: Rate Events, Staff Hosted Events, and Other Events.

Rate Events
Hot Time
Hot Time is a periodic event where server rates are temporarily doubled for the duration of the event.
Upon logging in to a channel, an [EVENT] indicator will display if Hot Time is active. You can also check Hot Time status with the @event command.
